Pete Evans is an internationally renowned and household chef, restauranteur, author and television presenter. His passion for food and living a healthy lifestyle inspires individuals and families around the world.
A love of food saw Pete begin his career as chef and restaurateur at the age of 19, opening numerous award-winning restaurants nationally as well as cooking in some of the finest restaurants globally.

Leah Bisiani has 35 years’ experience within aged /dementia care, establishing a highly skilled knowledge basis as a global leader in this field.
Her primary vision has focused on changing negative cultures and philosophies of care associated with people living with dementia, providing a voice that confronts current practice and advocates their rights. Leah has a passionate dedication towards Best Practice and is constantly researching and utilizing progressive and innovative approaches to obtain the highest possible quality of life for people living with dementia. She distributes and publishes her evidence-based research within the medical field, aged care sector and community, and sits on advisory boards worldwide.
Additionally, Leah advocates the therapeutic attributes of medicinal cannabis. Emphasised is, her focus on medicinal cannabis is unrelated and independent to her work with persons living with dementia. In 2015 Leah published a submission to the Victorian Law Reform discussing her support of medicinal cannabis as a healing medicine.
She has become a popular and prominent speaker at other foremost Australian and Global medicinal cannabis conferences, symposiums and summits, deliberating the promising therapeutic benefits of medicinal cannabis for the treatment of chronic intractable pain in the older population.

Sharlene is a Medical Scientist (BAppSc -Medical Laboratory Science) and director of Medical Cannabis Research Australia who has been researching how Medical Cannabis may treat an ever-increasing array of disorders. Her university background in diagnostic pathology gives her the knowledge to understand disease processes in the human body.
She’s travelled to the US, Canada, Israel, Colombia and Chile to learn firsthand from the leading researchers in this new field of cannabinoid science. She’s passionate about sharing this knowledge by educating others under the banner of her charity Medical Cannabis Research Australia. She is committed to advocating for use and access to medical cannabis for patients in Australia as well as promoting more research to give clinicians the evidence they require to pursue this treatment for their patients, both in Australia and in the rest of the world.

He is President of the Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance (AIHA) a national organisation representing members from all Australian states. Dr Towpik has been a General Practitioner in Australia since 1993 and an advocate of medicinal cannabis since the law was amended and cannabis was legalised for medicinal use. Since then she has been studying the therapeutic properties of cannabis, how it works in the human body and the potential applications in General Practice, especially in the management of chronic debilitating pain.
In 2016, Dr Towpik founded MediHuanna, an organisation that provides science-based medicinal cannabis education for Health Professionals. Dr Towpik sees cannabis as a therapeutic agent that has huge potential in General Practice. Her goal is to change the stigma behind cannabis through education, enabling it to be seen as an important medicine that should be integrated into modern medicine.
In 2018, Dr Towpik became a Chief Medical Officer for Compass Lifestyle Clinic. Gary has been involved in the Australian Hemp Industry since 1995. He is the owner of one of Australia’s long established and largest hemp retail business, the Margaret River HempCo. He is also owner/builder of Hemp Homes Australia.
His main advocacy is to promote the Australian Hemp Industry, by using only Australian Hemp Building products, whilst also supporting local industries.

After many years working as an award-winning Pastry Chef, a serious neck injury caused early retirement and much pain.
